Saturday’s Staging Hack

When it comes to staging and preparing your home to sell, furniture placement is a key player in selling your home, but also for everyday living!

Here are a few tips for furniture placement when selling your home:

> Make sure furniture does not block doorways and windows can be easily accessed.
> Remove excess and or bulky furniture to make rooms feel bigger.
> Avoid placing couches or beds on an angle, unless there is a main room feature (like a corner fireplace) to ground the angles.
> Furniture in living areas should be centred to highlight conversation, never around the television.
> Furniture should make sense in the room; buyers will know exactly the purpose of the room upon entering.
