Saturday’s Staging Hack
Let’s talk kids rooms! With the last year of stay at home orders, schools closing and people working from home, there had been a huge need to adjust the function of our living spaces. One of these spaces has been a multi-functional kids room, with the ability to accommodate learning and playing in one space.
When staging, we want kids play rooms to look fun and inviting, but also clear of clutter and busyness.
We suggest removing the bulk of toys (focus on ones that haven’t been played with in a while), put away paper-back books, papers and craft supplies. Invest in some baskets to stow small toys on shelves and keep the room simple. Talk to your kids about which of their favourite toys they would like to be put on display to make the room kid-appealing.
